Steinbeck himself perfectly fine. His office staff and other nurses garbage. Went in for an emergency Tooth Extraction. They claimed I wasn’t insured when I was. Insurance company had an online error which isn’t my problem. Tried forcing me to pay in full even though I’m covered 80%. Had to go to the ER the morning before my consultation because it got bad.

Hospital said since I had an appointment at 9am they’d just give me 1 pill to get by until Steinbeck would set me up on antibiotics for an infection rapidly spreading. They recommended just Ibuprofen as a way to kill the infection. Left the appointment and had to go back to the ER since Steinbecks office failed to treat me properly. I came into my appointment for tooth extraction this morning and they were very rude to my caretaker. Said she was not allowed to move her vehicle even though she had parked in a no parking. She wasn’t allowed to get breakfast for herself, and they pressured her into giving consent to do more dental work while I was under asleep already. She gladly said absolutely not.

The nurse got snippy with me because I had lit them all up on not paying in full about my insurance and slammed them on not treating me with antibiotics. Her claim was the hospital provided me with meds before my consultation which is false. i got meds at night, had to go to the ER twice. Morning ER visit was because my cheek was the size of a baseball, then my steinbeck consultation, then later on that night at 11pm i went back to the ER which at that point they had given meds and stated they were shocked that Steinbeck had Failed. ive seen numerous complaints as the office staff and his nurses are worthless, but he is highly recommended.

This Oral surgeon is awful. His staff members are rude to the patients and he treats you less than human. My dentist was out of town and he referred me to Steinbeck because I was 8 months pregnant with an abscess below the gumline of a back molar. The woman at the front desk acted like I was taking money out of her pocket demanding I pay the entire cost even though I knew my dental insurance was paying 80%. I was in excruciating pain, so I wrote the check. Once in the back, I was treated more like an animal than a human being. I was only given marcaine, no sedation or nitrous at all.

I didn't complain since I was pregnant and was not sure what could hurt the fetus. My vitals were NEVER monitored through the entire procedure and I was treated more like a number. The small talk he did engage in was going to the Reds game that weekend. They talked over me like I wasn't there. He was so rough, that my face was already bruised leaving the office. Pure agony for 3 days as I couldn't take ibuprofen being pregnant. I ended up seeing my dentist when he came home and he immediately put me on antibiotics and a pain medicine that was safe ln pregnancy.

Please do not give this man any more business. He is close enough to retirement age that he just needs to hang up the drill. Also, they take their sweet time refunding you after insurance pays their portion. I had to call the office and stop by to even get the ball rolling.
