Two years ago, I had an emergent situation with a tooth that needed a root canal. I don’t recall the details but do remember the office manager being shockingly rude. I was never seen in their office and ended up having to procedure done elsewhere.

Today I received another referral there and was told when I called that I’d been “dismissed from the practice” by the rude office manager, so they will not schedule me. If you want to be treated decently and with a shred of compassion, look elsewhere.

I was referred here by my dentist because they were unsure if I needed a root canal or just a filling. I called Gottlieb’s office while driving home from that appointment. They said they had an opening the next morning because someone had cancelled. This was before they received the referral from my dentist and I never said it was an emergency, just that I was to make an appointment with them.

I was completely transparent that I had a one month old at home who was also born 3 weeks early and that I needed to confirm that I had childcare. The person on the phone, I believe it was Tammy, said that it could be weeks to reschedule if I didn’t make it to this appointment because they were booking out. When I got home after my 30 minute drive, I tried finding someone who could care for the baby but had no luck. I was finally able to call the office back to try and rebook, and Tammy told me that because I missed that appointment, which was open regardless because someone cancelled and it was literally the next morning, the doctor wasn’t willing to “spend more of his time” on a patient who “didn’t comply.

” She said that I made other patients suffer by not taking the first appointment. I explained the situation, which she conveniently didn’t remember, and was having none of it because, in her eyes, they “went out of their way to accommodate my emergency” and I needed to call my dentist and find someone else. After reading the reviews and the unhinged responses from the owner, I was really hesitant to even go to this place, but this experience proved to me that this business has serious issues in how they treat people, let alone their patients.

My wife had a phone call with the office manager and the unkindness and impatient attitude from the office manager put her in tears. I wish I would have read the reviews before we made the appointment, as it seems other have had similar experiences. When I called to cancel the appointment, she was the same to me, and wouldn't talk to me as to why she made my wife feel so completely humiliated. Dentist procedures are scary, especially root canals, patients have concerns. Obviously Exeter Endodontics does not care and I hope Dr.

Gotlieb reads this. He must not, or not care, because they seem to have not changed. That office manager is why people hate going to the dentist. Don't go to Exeter Endodontics.

I needed a root canal for a tooth that had been causing me a lot of pain. I called yesterday morning and they were able to get me in later that day. I was so uncomfortable I wasn’t myself, but everybody was amazing from reception, the dental assistant, to Dr Pauk.

I would absolutely recommend it here if you want things to be explained to you and made to feel comfortable and safe. Thank you all and I feel so much better already!
