I had been going to this Dentist for the past 2 and a half years, being on Medicare this was one of the only two dentists that actually accepted our insurance, which is unfortunate, the amount of disregard this man and woman have for their patents is border line medical malpractice! For two years I went here and for 2 years he told me everything was fine and I had no cavities, fast forward to today after my visit with a legitimate dentist, I find out that I have ELEVEN CAVITIES! Eleven cavities dont just magically appear in between visits. They appear when a dentist doesn't take proper care of them for 2 years. I had to pay close to 25 hundred out of pocket due to this dentist not taking proper imaging or and just flat out ignoring so many cavities.

The nurse does her "cleaning" but the air compressor that gives the machine power doesn't even work, it spins slower and slower until shes shaking it and saying come onnn as she's trying to get it to work, by the end she just uses it to scrape the paste on without the machine even spinning, which leads us to our second problem, the nurse puts fluoride paste on before the dentist even looks at your teeth, how is the dentist supposed to check my teeth for cavities when theyre completly covered in paste?!? Ive asked 2 dentists after this and both have said putting paste on before hand is not propor procedure. The fact is this man just wants you in and out as fast as possible, Apart from that the equipment there is old and turning yellow, but he chooses to invest in a new floor instead of better equipment. I know being on Medicare is hard and you don't want to pay out of pocket somewhere else, but please trust me when I say you're better off paying for a legitimate dentist than whatever this establishment is.

when you'll just be stuck with a bigger bill and damaged teeth at the end of it all.

My first experience with Dr Johnsen was a few years ago. He was the only Dentist who would see my son for an emergency. He was great. Ended up doing a root canal and my son was impressed. . . very little pain.

I went in today for a cleaning and exam for the first time and was quite pleased. Don’t let the “hole in the wall” appearance deter you. Dr Johnsen is pleasant, efficient and soft spoken. The hygienist was friendly and thorough. I needed a deep cleaning since it had been 10+ years since my last one. I had no pain. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone!

We had a fantastic experience here as my college age son had his wisdom teeth removed in June. Jen, on staff, provided top rate care and information regarding pre-op and insurance for a worried mom who was navigating from afar. Deepest thanks to Jen and the doctors for my son's successful surgery and the care provided.

After my initial appointment with Dr Johnson I posted a very positive review. However, I never updated my review after a bad experience during COVID. Dr Johnson was not following protocol early on when I went in for an appointment. He had two people walking around without masks, and then proceeded to have one of them eating a pizza in the waiting area…where I was sitting.

They all three walked around eating pizza when they should have been masked if in a closed room. I got up and walked out , never returned.
