Had my first root canal done here today. Can’t thank you guys enough for making me feel comfortable and confident about my visit. My mother had to get dentures in her late 30s and had a terrible experience in the process(with a completely different dental practice) in which they gave her anesthesia she was allergic to and since then I’ve been afraid to get the work I so badly needed done.

After today I’m not at all scared of scheduling my other visits for the rest of my teeth. Everyone here worked with a level of professionalism that made me trust that I was in good hands and I didn’t feel any pain! I know that’s hard to believe if you struggle with dental anxiety but I promise it’s true! Thank you so much again

I had a root canal done at this office to treat the shaded area in the bone area. The procedure did not correct the problem after paying a lot of money for it. During the follow up visit, they did the CBC scan costing $120 prior to seeing the doctor which they did not use as part of the doctor discussion.

They also took an X-ray during that visit. This office is ripping off patients and performing unnecessary procedure and charge the insurance and patients.

Just wrapped up earlier today, felt very relaxed during root canal. You get the sense that they are masters at their craft, very well coordinated and efficient team. Fascinating process and procedure. Update - I was in pain for weeks before I did it (which is why it was necessary) and even the day after procedure although I'm taking advil I'm not in any pain anymore. Big difference already. Yay

I went to Dr. Ritch for a root canal treatment on January 14th. Everything related to the medical treatment was conducted without issue. The reason for the low rating is due to how billing and refunds have since been handled and the many months of back and forth with the office. And unfortunately, leaving low ratings appears to be the only way to get businesses to prioritize issues these days. A month after my insurance claim was processed, and expecting a refund, I called the office and was told that my refund couldn't be paid out because insurance still hadn't paid. Fine, understandable. Fast forward nearly another month and still no refund check in the mail.

I call again and I am told that it was mailed out March 3rd. We have Informed Delivery through the post office so every letter is scanned and recorded. Nothing was shown as being delivered by the office, but I was willing to accept that maybe it got lost in the mail or somewhere in our home. I am told by the office that they will need to confirm that the check has not been cashed and then they will reissue and mail a new one. Fine, no problem. I wait some more. I call back. I'm told another check will go out in the mail.

Back and forth, back and forth. Fast forward to today. Nearly six months since the procedure. Numerous calls. Still no refund check. I just want the money I'm owed and to not have to spend so much time dealing with this any more. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this office and will advise my dentist as well of my experience as they often refer out to Endodontic Specialists.
