I been a patient at encore for almost 10 years. It’s was a friendly place. Last year we experienced a lot of issues with this office . My son had to have an oral surgery for his wisdom teeth. we have two dental coverings. they only process the claim under one plane and we were stuck with $1300 bill. This year my daughter had to go through the same procedure and we came across the same problem.

We were trying to explain the people in the office that my company has some restrictions when it comes to covering some procedures(code). But they didn’t want to listen. The lady was rude and made my daughter cry the day of the surgery. It was a horrible experience. It seems like you have to do everyone’s job this days.

Never had a problem with any of the dentists there BUT. . . my daughter had 3 wisdom teeth pulled in July 2023. I paid the $100 deductible they asked for that day. Then 5 MONTHS later I start getting excessive texts and emails from them saying I owe $581. Called the office a zillion times and they don't care they just say ohhh we use third party billing. No one will look into anything for me.

so I contacted my dental insurance and they have ZERO record of my daughter getting her wisdom teeth removed. ZERO. I assured them them it did indeed happen as I have video of that day lol. So the dental insurance calls Encore to try to get it rectified and guess what happens next. . . I go online on my horizon app and now it shows I owe the full amount of almost $4,000. They completely removed the claim they sent to my medical which covered the majority of it.

Doesn't even exist anymore. So now after almost 2 years we haven't been to the dentist and I'm stuck playing this game of calling everyone and trying to find their deleted records. What a bunch of crap and 2 years of UNNECESSARY STRESS when I have good medical and dental insurance. Good luck with your huge bills. No clue what they're doing.

I still drive to the Lacey location even though the Toms River office is much closer because Encore Lacey is the only dental office that makes me feel truly comfortable. I have awful anxiety about going to the dentist, but the team here puts me at ease every single time. The hygienists are amazing. I’ve seen both Lauren and Maggie, and they’re incredibly informative, gentle, and make the visit quick and painless.

Dr. Mike is the best. I even cried once when I found out I needed a root canal, but the entire team made me feel calm and supported through the whole process. The front desk staff is also so sweet and efficient.

I’ve asked to be called if they get any last-minute cancellations, and they always follow through. I used to think I needed to be sedated to get any dental work done, but since going to Encore in Lacey, I’ve realized that was just my anxiety talking. The experience here is always smooth, professional, and surprisingly painless. I can’t recommend them enough!

From the moment you walk in you feel relaxed. The front desk employees are friendly and very professional. The hygienist is helpful and makes you comfortable. Dr. Patel the dentist again makes you feel at ease. I needed to meet with the oral surgeon Dr.

Bland. Dr. Bland and her assistant Caitlin explained what I needed done and no pain or feeling of being uncomfortable ever happened. This facility is clean and great! I will be an additional permanent patient. Thank you Encore Dental of Forked River 😊
