TURNED US AWAY! We took our handicapped son (age 48) to this office, to be fitted for new dentures. When making the appointment we told them he isn’t insured for dentures, and we planned to pay out of pocket. After getting our son out in the 90+ heat, and filling out all of the new patient paperwork, they turned us away because our son has Medicaid.

The receptionist claimed they can’t file for Medicaid (although Medicaid is listed in their insurance on Google). We tried to explain we didn’t even plan to file, but apparently this office refuses to take MONEY. What kind of office refuses to take MONEY?!!

Went to Elizabeth City Dental to have my tooth looked at, then I didn't have to wait to get it pulled. Robert Gillam, DDS did a wonderful job. I kinda enjoyed the process, I know I'm a little weird, he did a great job numbing me up, and let me know what he was doing while working to pull the tooth. The staff was amazing, the office is nice... I'm glad I ended up there.

Vintage Everything

I called for an appt but I first asked if this dentist could do what I specifically needed. Not all dentist do the same thing. I went into clear simple details about what I needed . I even sent over many X-rays . They refused to answer that simple question. They said he will not answer any questions he has to see me first . I told her I’m Not going to go there and be charged some outrageous consultation fee just so they can say ,” oh I don’t do that here”. There are so many Corrupt Dentist And this is one of them!! Proof ? If a dentist refused to answer basic info and insist to see you and also pushing for them to take x-rays, even though you sent the x-rays That’s fraud. Look it up on YouTube They’ll tell you things Dentist is do to rip you off. They over x-ray you , If you’re in pain and need immediate attention, they charge you three times the amount! In this case , they were really struggling to rip me off but I wouldn’t let them ! Everyone needs to Ask lots of questions if they can’t answer them go somewhere else. A great example ; My friend Went to a dentist that told her she needed a root canal.

But her dentist doesn’t do Root Canals. She said she had to go to an oral surgeon. So she goes to the surgeon they referred . And they try to get her to come in for another consultation ???? She already has been seen and evaluated by Dentist that said she needs a root canal , The dentist could have sent over a paper telling the details of that. But instead, they try to use intimidation and manipulation to get your money. Because they’re all narcissist! She told her I’m not paying your consultation fee! I’ll go somewhere else. She changed her tune and told her to come in next week. I’m sure they’re gonna do more x-rays and they’ll figure out a way to get that money from her either way. This is the thing all these dentist in the United States Are doing ! They are Robbing us ! they have overinflated the price of dentistry to the point It only caters to the extremely wealthy. There are poor people that don’t even make $30,000 a year Yet that’s what they want to charge to fix three or 4 teeth . And then they’re telling people “ you just need to pull your teeth out ! get dentures !Which is barbaric and horrific! It’s no different than The rich people on the Titanic sending the poor people to Steerage down below ! It’s no different than sending the Black people to the back of the bus! It’s discrimination! They are catering to rich people! And they’re treating everybody else like they are Beneath them! I had to dumb it down for this office .

I told her Hypothetically , if she needed to take her car in for brake job , and was unsure who did brakes , She might call Jiffy Lube and ask that question, I asked her , how would you like it they told her they won’t give her that info unless she brings her car in for an evaluation . And charges her a consultation fee Of $130. 00 . It’s no different ! Many dentist don’t do Root canals they send you to a Surgeon. Yet asking any questions In this office was not welcome ! It shows Corruption! Don’t ever go to a dentist that won’t answer questions prior. Because a dentist will get you into the office for that consultation fee just to tell you , you have to go somewhere else It has happened to me before . That’s why I ask questions now and if they can’t even so much as answer the question Then you know that they are Shady and not honest! And they’re in it for the money! And it needs to be reported to the dental board which I plan to do! And I also record all my conversations for proof! These dentist are consultationing us to death ! They don’t even have to practice dentistry. All they have to do is pretend they’re doing consult. Then later, tell you, they either don’t do it or they charge you some outrageous amount. This Dentist does not have the skills or the patience to even answer a question so how do you think he’s gonna do with your teeth? Like I said, go to Cancun , or anywhere outside the USA and Definitely nc
