Will say this first, staff is great very friendly, courteous and informative. My cleaning was just ok. Ok in that, where I use to go prior to my job change and now forced to change my dental, was amazing as I would leave feeling that they really took the care and time, the detail to clean my teeth I could feel it. whereas here, I was surprised. it was over and done rather quick and I can notice the diff between this cleaning and my previous dentist.

This cleaning my teeth although clean definitely didn’t feel Like I got the whole experience. Usually after a cleaning when youre feeling for your teeth with your tongue you can feel all the precision grooves clean between the teeth and here I did not experience this at all. Too many clients here and all the little details to my cleaning was definitely shorted. I know the difference because I’m comparing the service of one vs the other. All I want is the attention to detail.

When I move my tongue around this current cleaning i 100% know this cleaning isn’t the best or equally as good as I’ve had elsewhere. Disappointed. Wow, I miss just how great my previous dentist was/is. My wife went a few days prior and I didnt quite know what she meant, but now I see what she meant.

Had a deep clean on both sides, 2 visits. Rob was awesome! Explained everything in detail, asked if I was comfortable throughout the whole process, and was very professional! I was in and out in 35 minutes! We appreciate the Eastern Dental staff!

I experienced a piece of filling breaking off of one tooth on Saturday. I called Eastern Dental yesterday, Monday morning, and they initially scheduled me for an emergency exam for that tooth that afternoon. But, by the grace of God, because they had a cancelation for that afternoon and I was already about a month late for my regular every six month teeth exam and cleaning (due to my not having made an appointment till late), they moved up my regular exam (from the end of July) to that same day.

And, they were even able to schedule the tooth refilling for that tooth and another tooth for the very next day, today, Tuesday. Today's removal of the two old fillings and the installations of the new by their Dr Patel also was excellent.

I had a 4:30 PM appointment today at Eastern Dental and arrived on time. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. I wasn’t called back until 5:15 PM. The technician who brought me to the exam room didn’t introduce herself or even make eye contact, which felt very impersonal and unwelcoming. Thirteen minutes later, the dentist came in, also without introducing herself.

She performed a brief, one-minute exam and said someone would be in shortly to take me for my cleaning. After waiting another 18 minutes with no update, I decided to leave. At the front desk, I informed them that while I had seen the doctor, I would not be staying for the cleaning due to the excessive wait time — I had already been there for an hour and 20 minutes. The person at the desk responded with, “I don’t blame you,” and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I declined and let them know I would be switching providers.

I’ve been a patient at Eastern Dental for over 15 years, but the service has noticeably declined. Long wait times have become the norm — during my last visit, I was there for over an hour and 15 minutes, although at least I received the full exam, cleaning, and X-rays then. Sadly, this latest experience confirmed that it’s time to find a new dentist.
