My initial visit was fine. He referred me to another dentist to have my wisdom teeth out. After that, I only went for cleanings. The hygienists were all fine. I did notice there was a different one each time I went. My major problem was, I noticed my gums have began receding. I asked a few times and he told me I'm fine.
I decided to up my dental plan at work this year so I could change dentists because I refuse to become toothless due to his carelessness. And of course, my new dentist recognized the problem and sent me to a periodontist. Only giving 2 stars for the staff who has always been nice. He's arrogant and uncaring though. He needs to take it down several notches. He will wind up with not many patients left.

I went here for the first time in 2019 to get a 2nd opinion on some really extensive work involving implants. This dentists’ manner was very abrupt and dismissive. After briefly looking at the X-ray he said he could do the work for x amount of money.
I got a very bad feeling because I’d been told it’s a complicated case and any plan would require a panoramic X-ray. I immediately didn’t trust the opinion and didn’t go back.

Very bad experience over one year. First they pressured me to get expensive root canal and crown before the end of the year for insurance. Then find out the insurance didn't pay it, because I had to wait a few weeks. So had a huge bill. Only went back because I wanted them to look at that same crown, but found another tooth broken. They put in a crown and messed up and had to do it all over again.
Very aggressive with novocaine injections, so that they are more painful than necessary. Then overcharged me, but refunded, then later when I thought the whole bill was paid told me I owed $80 more. I will never go there again. I found another great dentist in West Long Branch.

I bring my mother to this dentist and they are extremely caring and gentle with her. She suffers from dementia and they go slow and take their time with her. I would honestly recommend this dentist to anybody looking for one in this area.
