Dr. Tawadros came highly recommended by an endondist (a dentist who specializes in root canals) My 9 year old had a huge painful cavity on his upper right adult molar that two other dentists did not feel comfortable working on. I was told by another dentist that my son may have to have a root canal or worse yet have the adult tooth pulled and later an implant put in! I got a second opinion from another dentist who did not feel qualified to work on a child as young who needed sedated. I was also given a quote from one dentists staff at UC hospital by phone of upwards of $2,000 for this service to be performed (plus a consultation fee of $299 just to decide treatment plan) because my son would need to be sedated! My husband and I are self employed and I was thankful Dr. Tawadros office took our insurance. Dr Tawadros staff billed me under $700 for entire service.

I was so pleased my co pay was under $300. I was so happy I could afford to help my son without taking a small loan! I say this because I did NOT feel they were trying to rip me off. They gave us excellent care at a more than fair price! On top of all this, Dr. Tawadros and his staff were extremely focused, respectful, caring and kind to my son! It was clear to me that he holds children in high regard and even guided me as a mother as to not say anything in front of my son that he knew would increase my sons anxiety about the procedure! After all Dr. Tawadros is an expert in his field. He also reassured me not to blame myself for the fact that my sons tooth was so progressed because it was a second year molar that had only come in two years ago and because it was so large it had probably come in underdeveloped and that is why the cavity had progressed so quickly.

He said he sees this all the time. I did not know this! His experience was very reassuring! My son was very nervous and I had the intuition to trust him as he assured my son and I it would most likely be a painless and most likely positive result. He answered all my sons questions and my own questions and did not make us feel rushed. He also was able to fit us into his already busy schedule to relieve my sons pain the same day as the consultation. He knows how to speak to a child on their own level and he asked me to come into the room while he treated my sons tooth. He used nitrous oxide aka, laughing gas to sedate my son and he spoke to my son during the procedure so gently and kindly and kept us all in good spirits, he actually had my son and I giggling! He has a wonderful sense of humor and he did a fantastic job and saved my sons adult tooth! No root canal needed today! His entire staff were absolutely lovely!! Friendly smiles from the moment we walked in the door! Tiffany, Katie, and Haley were so helpful and answered all our questions! I can not thank them enough for everything! A child only gets one set of adult teeth a lifetime and this trip to the dentist will impact my sons dental health in a positive way for years to come! You will not find a more kind and highly qualified Dentist and Staff! They are a true God Send to the children and family’s they serve!

Dr Tawadros and staff are awesome. I highly recommend them for child dentistry and orthotic care. I have 7 children who have been going to this practice for several years now. Dr T is very good at making the kids feel comfortable, even with complicated issues. Our family would not consider going anywhere else. If you are looking for a dentist or orthodontist for your child you should start here.

This is the best pediatric dentist that I have found! We saw several before finding Dr. T. and I will always take my children to him. He is kind and gentle, he has a very peaceful energy, the kids are comfortable with him and his approach.

His calm tone alone calms a nervous child, not to mention all of the wonderful staff that he retains, they have all been great. I have never had anything go less than ideal when dealing with their office. I constantly recommend them any chance I get.

This has to be the worse all around pediatrician/sedation team I have ever been to. I thought since he was affiliated with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital that this was a great choice. My son needed caps and fill ins. From the billing to the dentist the whole experience was terrible. Afterwards my son said he never wants to go back there. He just didn’t like them. They were not nice people. He would rather go back to my dentist, (Illuminating Dentistry).

And there sedation team, I wouldn’t recommend to my dog. I felt as if I was handing my child over to Dr Death. My child procedure took way longer than expect but nothing new was discover🤷🏽‍♀️ and they tried to charge me more money for going over time. To the point I told them to get my child from back there. If it wasn’t for the fact that other pediatrician had a wait, I would have never gone here. Now it make sense why their schedule was so open. Be ware!! Don’t be fooled!!
