I had initially scheduled my first appointment with Dr. Odom after hearing great things about Downtown Dental from a friend who’s a patient of Dr. Hickey. I really wanted to see Dr. Hickey, but at the time, she wasn’t available. However, when I arrived for my appointment, Dr. Hickey was able to see me after all (nothing against Dr. Odom—I’d just heard so many good things about Dr. Hickey!).

To be honest, I’ve always dreaded going to the dentist and had avoided it for far too long, especially without medical insurance. But even before making the appointment, I had a good feeling about this place. The staff were incredibly helpful when I called about an issue with my tooth, and that gave me some comfort. I was still nervous when I arrived at the office, but that didn’t last long. The atmosphere in the office is so warm, modern, and welcoming. After being greeted by the receptionist and checking in, Tiffany brought me back for my appointment. She was fantastic and instantly made me feel at ease—she could definitely tell I was nervous! Then came the moment I’d been waiting for: meeting Dr. Hickey. What a relief! She’s like a breath of fresh air—so understanding, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind.

I’ve had bad dental experiences in the past, but she really reassured me that I was in good hands, and she wasn’t wrong! Dr. Hickey laid out a treatment plan for me, and I just finished another appointment today with her, Tiffany, and the rest of the amazing staff. Everything went so smoothly. I can’t recommend Downtown Dental enough! If you’re looking for a fantastic dentist, this is the place. And while I’m sure Dr. Odom is great too, I’m beyond thrilled with my experience with Dr. Hickey. I’m confident all my dental needs will be taken care of here. If I could give 15 stars, I would!

N odum DDS is very professional and informative. .

my wife had a full mouth extraction on Monday May 19th Dr odum knows exactly what he is talking about on her first visit he explained the procedure made us very comfortable we definitely recommend N odum DDS and Dr odums assistant to anyone needing dental work I can't leave the ladies in the front office very professional with check in and check out so definitely all around we recommend Downtown Dental 💯 percent plus more 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Had to make an appointment due to a broken filling. I was not a patient. They did fit me in to see Dr. Odom. The entire visit was virtually painless, and every staff member was kind and warm. Had a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend!

Today was really the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I have had really, really bad experiences with dentists from getting fillings in the wrong teeth, repeatedly messing up my bite, having my face grabbed and slamming my mouth shut, etc. and I just can’t believe the absolute 180 I experienced here today. I’ve gained such an irrational fear from the dentist, but Dr. Hickey was so, so kind to me.

She was so great at checking to make sure I was okay and walking through each step she was going to be doing next. I’ve also not had my teeth cleaned probably since I was 12 or so, because I’ve always needed work done first and then the work and experience would scare me into coming back to a dentist. Kara was so kind to me, complimented my teeth and lack of hardly any plaque to clean off, and said I was doing a good job. I’ve never been told that at the dentist before. I will ALWAYS be coming back here as long as I have a say in it and recommending Downtown Dental to anyone who asks me.

Thank you so much to everyone at this office. It’s made the world of a difference to me and my outlook on coming to the dentist.
