Distinctive Dentistry - Dr. James Shipley

Dr. James H. Shipley, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 83, was the esteemed founder of Distinctive Dentistry, a Dental Practice located at 8383 Greenway Blvd Ste 120, Middleton, WI 53562. For over five decades, Dr. Shipley was dedicated to providing dental care and creating "beautifully memorable smiles" for his patients in the Middleton area. He graduated from Marquette University in 1966. Beyond his dental practice, Dr. Shipley also established the Institute of Dental Assisting in 1992 in Middleton, WI. This institute has successfully trained over 500 dental assistants, providing professional and modern training through two sessions annually, each consisting of 10 consecutive Saturday classes. Dr. Shipley was deeply involved in his community, enjoying Wisconsin life with family and friends, and was also a devout Christian and pastor of New Life Baptist Church. His dental practice was characterized by a close-knit community of skilled technicians and staff, and a diverse group of patients who appreciated his professional and personal approach.
