⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Life-Changing Consultation After decades of dental trauma, bad experiences, outrageous estimates, and constant fear of being disappointed again, I finally found something I never expected to find: hope. Over the past 25–30 years, I’ve lived with the consequences of a tongue piercing I got in my youth. It damaged my teeth severely — I’ve had break after break, countless dental visits, and procedures done across multiple cities and even countries. From Miami Beach to Coral Gables to Coconut Grove and even Colombia and France, I’ve sought opinions and been given quote after quote: $20,000, $25,000, sometimes more — and never with any real reassurance or emotional support. It’s been a painful, expensive, disheartening road, and I’ve always felt like just another number in a dental chair. That is, until today. I was referred by a friend to Dr. Gedz, and from the moment I walked into her office, I could feel something was different. The environment was calm and comforting, the assistants were kind and attentive — they checked in with me during x-rays, gave me a pat on the shoulder, asked how I was doing, and genuinely listened.

No rush. No pressure. Just care. But then I met Dr. Gedz herself, and I was brought to tears. She was the first doctor I’ve ever encountered who truly saw me — not just my mouth or my dental problems, but me. Her empathy, expertise, and patience completely disarmed the fear I’ve been carrying for years. She spent hours with me, explained everything in clear terms, gave me options, and for the first time, I felt like I could trust someone with this burden I’ve been carrying for so long. I haven’t even had the dental work yet — but this initial consultation, this treatment plan, this experience — it’s already changed how I feel about dentistry, and about myself.

I had a terrible experience at Pearl Dental. The front desk staff is completely incompetent. When I asked about financing options, the receptionist couldn’t explain anything—instead, they just threw some brochures at me and said, “Figure it out yourself. ” That’s not how a professional medical facility should treat its patients. The dentists are just as unprofessional. One of them placed a filling incorrectly, which later fell out and even affected my neighboring tooth, causing discomfort for a whole month. I was in Hawaii during this time, and it ruined my experience because of the constant pain. When I returned to have the filling redone, I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time, and no one even bothered to apologize or acknowledge the delay.

Meanwhile, I noticed that the receptionist prioritized a Slavic woman twice—the first time, she let her go ahead of others, and the second time, she even asked for her permission before calling another patient. This felt like clear discrimination against me. During the procedure, the numbing injection was administered aggressively, and the assistant grabbed my cheek roughly, as if she was annoyed that I came back for a correction. On top of that, when I called about the issue earlier, the receptionist blamed me for the failed filling, saying it was due to my own negligence. The worst part? The receptionist was extremely rude. She argued with me, raised her voice, interrupted me constantly, and refused to listen. She had zero customer service skills and didn’t care about patient satisfaction at all. After all this, I decided to go to another dental clinic, where they took an X-ray.

The new dentist confirmed that Pearl Dental had placed the filling incorrectly, causing it to stick out and press against my neighboring tooth. That was the reason for all my discomfort. I even tried to reschedule and give them a chance to fix it, wasting more of my time, but they never once apologized for their mistakes. Not for the bad dental work, not for the wasted time, not for the horrible customer service. This place is completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and discriminatory. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I visited this dental clinic for a professional cleaning and a full oral check-up. I was really impressed by the doctor — a professor — who explained everything clearly: which issues require immediate attention and which can wait. The experience was very professional and caring.

The cleaning went great — my teeth now look super clean and fresh. Huge thanks to the whole team for their amazing work!
