I have bad anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, to the point I never really went unless something was wrong. I hadn't seen a dentist in a few years, and was having problems. They were recommended to me by a co-worker. The staff is wonderful.

The hygienist is very gentle. She carefully cleans my teeth so it's pain free. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist, especially if they have anxiety about it.

Lovely staff and very nice office. This dentist makes me feel way more comfortable than any of the other dentists I have seen in Washington. I probably won't avoid going now that I found this place.

This place will make your worst nightmare come true. I had all my top teeth removed next door last Wed, they gave my temporary denture to my surgeon in a zip lock bag. YEAH. The office is pretty, they have a very nice lady at the front & beautiful plants, decorations, I thought this was a great place to TRUST. Let's Rewind to the pre-op mouth scan: The lady could not get the amazing technology with AI to work, 4 times she tried (it was painful). So she ended up doing old fashioned impressions top/bottom. These teeth are so small that when I put them in my mouth they are inside of my bottom teeth like an underbite. They are crooked because the top gum on one side is 1/4" higher than the other side & curved toward the gum! So the day of surgery you are suppose to put these right in & NOT take them out or they will never fit, many have told me this. The Surgeon couldn't even get them in. I tried later at home, and again the next day. . no way these were made right. I call them, they refused to see me without an appointment. So I had to wait 6 DAYS to drive an HOUR one way to suit their availability. I get there today, the same lady who couldn't get the scans comes in, put these teeth in and jabs my frenulum stitch when trying to correct how crooked they are. .

I flinch & pull back! Oh that's fresh she says, let me go get the doctor. No crap, did you not read my chart before I got here?? She gets Dr. McVay who proceeds by getting some polident or whatever the goop is called. It is still hitting my incisor, so her resolution was to shave down the tooth instead of the quarter of an inch higher side of fake gum that was clearly the issue & I pointed it out to her first thing. Then proceeds to tell me that they didn't have a lot to work with, it's an estimate, but it is the impression of My mouth. REALLY, that's your "specialty" Making dentures for people who don't have a lot to work with! That's why I paid you $740 for this. Your technology failed & you failed to recognize or be responsible for it. Then today, as you did not make it right, you should have offered to REMAKE what I paid for. You sent me away with still crooked, too small for my mouth even with swelling, yellow Toddler size teeth. These were suppose to be in my mouth the DAY OF my surgery. There is Zero Accountability from Dr. McVay for this mess up. It is clearly a horrible job on their part and not once offered any other resolution besides goop, & false hope. She Kept mentioning the "final denture" is what matters . . .

yeah 6 months from now!! & I'M DEFINITELY NOT HAVING YOU MAKE THEM. FRAUDS. My reply to Owner: I am amazed at your gull but not surprised by your response. The pictures I just added will prove you are full of it. Some of your own people see through your facade as well by your Employee Reviews: "Mixed reviews: While Indeed employee reviews mention the good work itself, some also express concerns about management communication, lack of forward-thinking, and hypocrisy in their approach to employee ideas. Overall: Dental Designs of Washington seems to be well-regarded for its positive patient experience, with many patients recommending the practice for their dental needs. However, there are some employee reviews that raise concerns about management practices. " You are callous & unprofessional. You knew when I left, it was still messed up & you did not care. I heard you tell the others regarding the issue with the gum line " That can not be fixed here". Yet you added the goop & polident hoping I would accept it. I didn't because it would have broken my bottom tooth, as it was hitting because of the crooked gumline you created. You seemed annoyed & filed down the tooth instead of sending it back to the lab or redoing a scan and remaking the faulty gumline that is clearly shown in the pics. WHY would I come back, You had the chance that day to make it right. The swelling going down will not fix your crooked device.

Friendly receptionist and the reception area was very welcoming. Hygienist was professional and sweet. Doctor was competent, amiable, and thorough. I would definitely recommend their services.
