Dee for Dentist is a delightful find for gentle, personalized care! From the moment I walked in, the warm staff made me feel at ease—no typical dental anxiety here. The clinic is bright and cozy, with a calm vibe that helps nerves melt away. Dr. Dee is amazing—thorough yet gentle, taking time to explain my treatment options and answer every question.

My recent filling was virtually painless, thanks to her steady hands and patience. Hygienists are attentive and kind, making cleanings comfortable even with sensitive gums. They offer flexible scheduling, handle insurance smoothly, and send friendly reminders. A practice that truly prioritizes patient comfort—my new favorite dental home!

I wasn’t going to leave a review, but after the call I had with Dee for Dentist (Charleston location), I felt the need to share my disappointing experience—even if they might unethically delete my review. I genuinely felt like they were not looking out for my best interest, but more so profits. I chipped my tooth and in addition to the whitening ($400) and the tooth bonding that I personally decided to get, they recommended the ICON treatment ($400 per tooth). I wasn’t fully informed on the results of this treatment. For example, I didn’t know they would be scrubbing chemicals onto my enamel and forever change the texture of my teeth. Additionally, they made it clear the main point of this treatment would be for aesthetics when they did the bonding. I understand.

But so much for aesthetics, when you can still see a bit of the white spot on my tooth. Additionally, they wanted to do an Onlay treatment on me. This was a big deal to me because they would take a big chunk of my enamel off just to replace it with porcelain. Good thing they were very annoyed that I took 45 minutes (soooo annoying to be well informed after experiencing lack of being informed just a week earlier—sarcasm) to get a thorough explanation of this tooth-changing treatment. I got a second opinion, and they found no need for this treatment…. Additionally, they were recommending I get Invisalign (despite already getting braces and Invisalign in the past) because they were warning me of long-term consequences of some of the teeth in my bite not touching. Again, I got a second opinion, and there was no need.

The peak of unprofessionalism was when after I didn’t proceed with the Onlay treatment, the dentist called me a week later with a story about how apparently she cannot meet my expectations when it comes to doing the treatment……. A common dental service…… She decided to give me a bullshit reason for kicking me out of not only her office, but the Henderson location. Right… because her being unable to meet my expectations somehow impacts the other location’s ability to provide me dental services. This has honestly been the worst dental office experience of my life with unethical and unprofessional people. Do what you feel is right for you, but with the amount of dental offices around, I would recommend not going to this one.

Dee for Dentist is incredible! I have been coming here for years now for all my dental needs, and have been very well taken care of by the staff. They are very friendly and personable and it is an overall great environment to get dental care! Annette does a wonderful job cleaning my teeth every time!
