Honestly if it wasn't for the customer service upfront, this dental office would be a solid 5/5. I rarely make google reviews, however I felt I had to share my recent visit. Dr Gutierrez and Brandy are amazing. Great bed side manner, honest, and always helpful. My 3 years going to this office was great when it came to the actual services offered by the dental assistants and Dentist. However, they really need to figure out the scheduling issue with patients. For those of us who work it is tough to find time in our busy schedules to change appointments that are set multiple days or weeks in advance. This office tends to change your appointment without a telephone call or notification and will not let you know unless you go on to their portal to check. It has happened more times than I can count. The most recent visit was scheduled for a 2PM.

I got an email the morning of saying it was at 2:30 but I definitely made it for 2 initially. Since I didn't get a call or anything about this change I decided to call myself to ask what was going on. They told me they changed my appointment, I advised it was for 2 and I could not do 2:30 due to work. They front office person said they apologize and to come at 2 and they will definitely still take me at 2. I show up on time and checked in and sat for 30 minutes without anyone bringing me back. After roughly 40 minutes I ask what is going on and they advised my appointment was 2:30. I explained how this was an issue and Haven upfront explained that it was initially for 2 but someone moved it forward but never called me. Which is pretty unprofessional in my opinion. Nonetheless I waited and finally was seen. I was placed in one of the offices and no one came in to see me for the whole time.

Even the paper on the wall inside the room with my info showed the appointment for 2PM which I took a photo of to show the receptionist. At roughly 3:05 I got up and left. The Dentist said she was on her way to come to me but I had already waited an hour and had to go back to work. This is a common, reoccurring issue at this office. I wish they would of called me to apologize and made it right, but they didn't. Maybe I'm the only one unlucky enough to have this happen to before but it definitely wasn't the first time. Very unprofessional, I do appreciate Dr Gutierrez and Brandy for the nice interactions and visits I had over the last few years, they are top of the class. But the front is lacking which is why I had to switch dentist.

Cara Bonds

Crown fell off after 3 years. I’m not sure how long crowns normally last but 3 years for the price is crazy.

Also this office seems very money hungry, recommended a cancer screening just for the dentist to look at my tongue. Excuse me?!? You look at my tongue every time I come in here…if you saw something concerning for cancer you wouldn’t tell me unless I paid a extra fee for a cancer screening smh

Don’t listen to the fake reviews. First off, the assistant who started the cleaning seemed either rushed or inexperienced. When she flossed my teeth, she didn’t use proper technique—just slammed the floss straight into my gums without going side to side or cleaning each tooth surface like you’re supposed to. It felt careless and aggressive.

The overall cleaning lasted maybe 10 minutes, and I still had visible tartar left on my teeth when it was done. While the staff was friendly, the quality of care just wasn’t there. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.

Dr. Melby Llanes is very sweet, she provides a great service and explains everything very thoroughly. She is very dedicated to all her patients as I could see when I visited the dental clinic. I highly recommend her for your first or next visit to the dentist. The office has modern equipment and everything is sterilized and protected for each patient.

Couldn’t be more impressed with her service and the dental office in general. P. D. The dental hygienist, Maggie was a sweetheart, always making sure I was fine and explained everything that she was doing and gave me great tips for my dental hygiene.
