My family has used D&D Family Dentistry for years. I showed up to my appointment on Monday only to find out they had given my appointment away to another person. I confirmed their appointment with a "Y" like the reminder text told me to do and they even sent me a confirmation text Sunday afternoon confirming the appointment. When I mentioned this to the receptionist she confirmed I had sent the text but just blew it off and said "I don't know why this happened.

" I get things happen but this is not the first time where I went to the Dentist office only to find out my appointment was cancelled. The one time I had to cancel my children's appointments last minute because of an emergency I had to pay $100 fine (which I understood and paid it no problem) but there is no penality for them cancelling on their patients. Their are other reviews on here that complain about the same issue so I know I am not the only one experiencing this. The services they provide are fine and the staff is good, I just can't keep affording to take off time from work only to show up to my appointment that was cancelled.

I was going to let this whole thing go but then I received a text asking how my appointment went which really added salt to the wound. Why don't you ask the person you gave my appointment to?

Since moving to the Fredericksburg area a little over 2 years ago, my wife & I had looked around for a Dentist. After finding D & D, we knew we found the one. I had an upcoming surgery and the entire staff went above and beyond to get the work done on my tooth in a short period of time so it did not affect my surgery.

I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an dentist - exceptional experience from the minute you walk through the door.

This place deserves 0 stars but for the purposes of reiterating a lot of other patients concerns with this practice I had to give them one. They have zero regard for patients schedule and the time off patients have requested from their jobs for scheduled appointments. I had already confirmed my appointment for tomorrow11/21 at 2 pm and today 11/20 received a text message that my appointment unbeknownst to me had been moved to 1pm.

Due to the fact I need to make my job aware of appointments, I called the office and spoke with KAREN their supposed office manager, whose only solution to my complaint of changing my appointment via text message, and my complaint of not being scheduled with the female doctor was “where would you like your records sent. ” There was no accommodations to try and schedule my appointment to a time that works for me. I get it, emergencies happen, and when I try to tell her this, her response was “please don’t raise your voice at me.

” Clearly she does not know how to take accountability for being absolutely wrong. I suggest Dr Duarte and Dr Diaz take a look at the trash employee working for them due to this person and her suggestion I will be taking my care elsewhere.

I got to know the great staff there at D & D. They are dedicated & do a great job at helping patients to achieve good Oral Health. This office is a husband & wife dental team. The husband had major health problems for months from which he has now recovered & returned to work. Wish them the best and try to realize that scheduling may be different than normal for a bit.
