My appointment today was at 9:45am ,however, once I was invited into the operating room, I waited another hour and did not get my procedure completed. I think that this was very unprofessional. In fact, I hear my Dentist visiting other rooms. It was like I was overlooked.

Edited to add: I also sent an email to Cox Dentist about this per their response below and have not received any response from them. My young adult son went to this office for a cleaning as a new patient. He is still covered under my dental insurance which is why I am writing this review. Cleanings are covered 100% on my plan and I have NEVER been charged for anything on a cleaning with an in network provider.
This office completely took advantage of my son and did a cancer screening that is not covered by insurance and without his consent, gave him flouride without his consent which was not covered by insurance (not sure why they would give him flouride as an adult) and did panaramic xrays when our policy clearly states he is not eligible until 1/1/2027. They charged him $41 when he was checking out. They billed my Insurance $662. They sent a bill for $422 to me as the Guarantor.
As the Insurance Subscriber that DOES NOT make me the Guarantor. My Son should have owed $0 for this Cleaning.

Best dental work I've had done! Simple filling but the doc ensured the topical numbing agent was working prior to adding the novacane with the needle, didn't even feel that going in nor did I feel any of the procedure! Zero post pain either. Utilized a mouth block? I think it was which was a first but kept me from having jaw pain later either!

I moved from Alexandria VA to Fredericksburg so I needed to find a dentist closer to my area. I found this dentist which was only 7 mins from my house. My appointment was today at 8am and let’s just say I was leaving the office by 8:08 . I’m very big on first impression and how you great and treat customers.
When I first walked in and got to the front counter all I smelled was cigarette smell. Then a lady with white short hair called me to the back by name , she didn’t even say “ good morning” or even a simple “ hi how are you? My name is such and such” so just off those two interactions I felt like I definitely made the wrong decision on picking this dentist. I was also asking about a build up procedure that my previous dentist said I could get but the lady with the short white hair continued to tell me what I couldn’t get, and was saying it in a dismissive manner and pretty much saying “ well that’s what they do there “ I just did not like her tone and demeanor. I simply got up out the chair and said “ this is not going to work for me” I would rather take an hour drive to my old dentist who cares more about their patients, office very clean and smoke free and actually listens to the patients without dismissing them.
Customer service is always #1 for me and if I feel like I’m not wanted somewhere I’ll simply won’t stay. Very upset about my experience here.
