My sons teeth look amazing had other places tell me to wait so they could make more money off me and possibly he would need surgery. Dr.Contes was very honest and fixed the problem.

I have nothing but the highest of recommendations and respect for Dr. Contes. First of all, he will do everything that he can to provide the least invasive treatment plan with maximum results. Other orthodontists evaluated our youngest son and wanted to remove or shave teeth. Although Dr. Contes recognized the fact that space would be an issue, he had plans in place to ensure that no shaving or extractions would be necessary. Another positive note is the highly individualized care he provides to each of his patients.

He gets to know each one very well, knows how they will respond and will make adjustments as necessary along the way. For example, our oldest son has a significant tongue thrust (mostly in his sleep), so Dr. Contes knew that after his braces came off, there would have to be a different approach to keeping his teeth aligned properly. In addition, his prices are reasonable and transparent so you know exactly what you're paying for up front. One of the largest reasons, however, that I hold Dr. Contes in such high regard is because of the respect he has for each of his young patients. He talks TO them not about them.

He will include the parents in the conversation, but will always look my kids in the eye as he explains next steps and expectations for the days and weeks between appointments. He involves them in the process, provides accountability and expects them to embrace responsibility for their care. All three of my kids felt immediately at ease with Dr. Contes and that speaks volumes to the kindness and individualized attention he shows to each patient. We have no regrets about choosing Dr. Contes for orthodontic care and no reservations about referring others to his practice.

All 3 of my children had braces, retainers, and everything between! Dr. Contes has been wonderful, professional, and affordable! The staff also do a great job! He runs a tight ship and the kids are in and out for their appointments. I would highly recommend Dr. Contes for any orthodontist needs!

I don’t normally do this but I wanted to put a warning out about Dr Contes Orthodontics. Back in March of 2019 I took my 3rd grade son and 5th grade daughter for a consult for braces. I was quoted $1860. 00 each. My daughter’s treatment was successful. My son is another story and where the warning comes from.

My son, undiagnosed at the time, had major sensory issues which made braces impossible. This was found out after Dr. Contes created an expander for him. It was eventually mutually agreed upon that we were discontinuing services for my son. Now mind you at that point I had already paid $1650. Fast forward to this month, we found a more specialized orthodontist that is able to accommodate his sensory issues.

They ran insurance and found his lifetime for orthodontic was taken by Dr Contes. When I called the office they made it clear they did not plan on giving any money back. BBB and insurance are not able to help. I feel taken advantage of by this practice! I could understand keeping a portion but not the $1650 total! I just want my sons teeth straight!
