As a reoccurring customer it is very difficult to get an appointment ever 6 months for a cleaning which I find annoying. Everytime I go they always have something extra they want me to purchase whether it is fluoride or a cancer screening which is just a light in my month. And nothing is ever covered by the insurance. It is frustrating and when you say no you have to sign and decline.
I just want to get my teeth cleaned. And they are not pleasant when you decline.

Well, since you asked for a review, yesterday was probably the worst dentist appointment I’ve ever had. The hygienist was jabbing my cheek with her scaler and mirror. And when I flinched for the 4th time asked me “is it really that sensitive?” Now I have cuts in my cheek. Not to mention when she was scaling my teeth I looked at her and she was looking into another room while scraping my teeth. I will never recommend anyone go here. I’ve tolerated it before, but that was the final straw.
In the past I’ve inquired about Invisalign and they charge for the whole procedure, not what the patients needs are. And when I told them I found an orthodontist that quoted me much lower and for what I actually needed I was made out to be a liar it felt like. My family will not come here anymore. I’d rather pay out of pocket with another dentist close by because I know they will actually treat me and my mouth with respect.

Truly unimpressed with the lack of professionalism and inconvenience of my appointment this morning. I scheduled this appointment literally a year in advance due to the such limited availability of appointments and when I show up, i’m told they “don’t have time to see me” due to issues with their staffing. No one let me know prior to and I confirmed this appointment with them before showing up. Then, they could only reschedule me for NOVEMBER.
Completely unacceptable. I’m honestly baffled at how this was handled considering I took time out of my work to attend this appointment and showed up early only to be turned away without any notice.

Excellent staff. Good prices using my UP.M.C for Life, insurance. I am confident that the dentists have known what to do... and do it quickly and kindly. Chestnut Hills has cared for my dental needs for over 5 years.
