Edit. Since I can’t reply to their response I’ll add it here. Maybe you should tell your wife, since I just found out she is the receptionist that was very rude, to do her job better and tell patients about the $50 fee if cancelling within 24 hours. Maybe that would help people to try to work something out. Or maybe you could have just told us you would have to charge us instead of getting all rude about it. We were never ever told about that fee or cancelling. Maybe she should also take some classes on how to be professional at work. Hello! Dr. Cartwright himself was great to my daughter. I switched from redwood dental to Cartwright dental for my whole family to start going too. I was relieved to find a good Dentist. I only have two stars because the lady at the desk was nice at first. Wow did she turn into a very rude and unprofessional person. My husband works 12 hour shifts. He’s on the midnight shift. He works extremely hard for our family and I am beyond shocked at the way she treated my husband and then myself when I called them to explain why he had to cancel. He had twice due to working overtime that he did not know he would be doing.

She DID NOT like that he cancelled twice. The first appointment was on a Monday morning. He ended up having to work midnight Sunday night hence why he had to cancel. Then she rescheduled him for today. Well, normally he is off work by 10 am. Well he worked much later and had to sleep. I’m sorry but we don’t need him being too sleepy while driving to a dentist appointment. He had already been awake most of the day yesterday and then all hours of the night. When my husband called to cancel this morning. The lady who answers the phones was extremely rude. He called and said “I need to reschedule, I got out of work late. And she said rescheduling again? I have nothing until January. ” She did not even take the time to reschedule him. She just kept talking over him and talked down to him. She was very disrespectful. My husband is a person who is kind and nice to everyone so for this to anger him means something. So I called just a bit ago to ask what happened and to explain why he had to reschedule.

First I asked if there was a manager or a higher up I could speak with. She said “nope just me”. She said it in a very rude way. Then I said oh wow you must be the one that was mean to my husband then. She says rudely “well ya know he’s canceled twice now”. Mind you she is talking very unprofessional to me now. So as I’m trying to explain to her why he had to reschedule she is talking over me just like she talked over my husband. I couldn’t even get a word out. I have never had a receptionist be so mad and mean about having to reschedule an appointment. Like geez it was only twice and for very good reasons. Forget it. I cancelled all our appointments. I feel bad for cancelling because Dr. Cartwright himself seems very nice. Maybe he should get a new employee.

This was my husband and I 2nd visit today for our semiannual cleaning. The hygienist was absolutely fantastic. Her calm, professional and caring demeanor is immediately apparent. She is skilled, gentle and thorough. Perfect combination for a wonderful cleaning experience. Dr.

Cartwright was also very thorough and kind. My husband expressed how happy he is to have found this awesome dentistry. He does not compliment very easily. Thank you for a lovely experience.

We need family dentists. Cartwright is just that. They told me everything i needed verbally and non-verbal for me to choose their practice. They were recommended to me personally by my Dentist who Retired.
