Excellent Service and Care – Highly Recommend! I usually don’t take the time to write reviews for dental practices, but I feel truly compelled to share my experience this time because of the exceptional service we received. My twin boys started their Braces treatment at the Apex office with Dr. Brett in January 2023. One of them just completed his braces and started wearing a retainer three weeks ago. After about a year and a half of treatment, his teeth look nice and satifified! The other one is also nearing the end of his braces journey. Recently, my sons went on a long trip and the one who had already started wearing his retainer lost it on the last day of the trip — it was left in a taxi on the way to the airport and, despite our efforts, we couldn’t recover it. I made an appointment first thing this morning after they returned home last night, but the earliest spot was in three weeks, and I was panicked, worried about tooth shifting and the high cost of having to redo the orthodontic work. Luckily I requested to talk to the office coordinator. She called me back shortly and was able to squeeze us in for an appointment at 11:15AM today.

Since I had brought the retainer mold they originally gave me to keep for free, my son was able to get a new plastic retainer made within an hour — and the total cost was just $336! The original retainer was the metal wire style, as I initially thought it would be more durable. However, it would take over two weeks to remake, so we opted for a plastic replacement instead. (My son says the plastic retainer is much more comfortable to wear than the metal one). We were told that the plastic retainer is comparable in durability and should last for years with proper care. I’ll be sure to post an update if that turns out not to be the case. Based on our experience with the Apex office for about one and half years, I would say it was a pleasure from the begining starting from a free consultation with careful teeth examination and clear cost estimate, plus a sibling discount, which we appreciated. Appointments have always been smooth, and wait times are short. Dr. Brett is calm and professional with great expertise— not overly enthusiastic, but respectful and welcoming.

The orthodontic staff, Mr. Jefferson, is AWESOME!! He is genuinely empathetic, easy to talk to, and also seems knowledgeable to me. He always goes out of his way to accommodate our scheduling needs, finding the latest afternoon slots to work around my sons’ high school schedules. This office has consistently delivered a comfortable, stress-free experience. Everyone here is friendly, billing team is supportive for insurance claim and reimbursement, and the ortho techniques are modern and professional. One more thing you may find useful: During the orthodontic treatment, whenever a wire broke, we were always able to get an appointment within a day or two to have it fixed without extra cost. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for high-quality pediatric orthodontic care.

Came in with my 6 year old daughter and 3 year old son today to see Dr. Felicia. She’s amazing, her team is amazing, the facilities are top notch. I would recommend Dr. Felicia to anyone with their little ones.

She is always so welcoming, warm, and kind spirited. She made me, and more importantly, our kiddos feel right at home. Thanks so much for treating us like family! Our daughter lost her first tooth today, and she can’t stop bragging to her brothers and friends about how much fun she had at Carolina Orthodontics and with Dr. Felicia. Thanks a million!

Office was beautiful , from the front desk to all the staff , they were all so friendly and welcoming. The Dental Assistant was so nice and attentive to my son , she made him feel so special. Dr.

Swinney was really informative about treatment my son would be receiving, and made sure to answer any questions and concerns we may have, they all made my child feel comfortable , I would say it was the most comfortable and calm he has ever been at a dentist office thanks to them , I would greatly recommend this office it was a amazing experience overall. 😃

We brought our two boys, 2 and 3. 5, for their first dentist appointments, and the experience couldn’t have been better. There was a little play area for h th e kids when we walked in, and we were brought back quickly after our appointment time.

Both dental hygienists as well as the dentist, Dr. Jorge, were wonderful with the boys - kind, patient, gentle, and fun - and they took the time to carefully explain (without any judgement, because it’s hard to keep great dental hygiene with toddlers) how we can set the boys up for the best dental health. We’re so grateful to have found a dentist office that the boys will look forward to visiting - not dread!
