Caring Health Centers (CHC) is a premier, non-profit
community health center that has been serving the Greater Springfield area and surrounding communities in Western Massachusetts for over 30 years. Founded in 1995, CHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center (
FQHC) with a mission to eliminate health disparities and achieve health equity. The organization is distinguished by its commitment to providing accessible, value-driven healthcare to a diverse, multi-ethnic population, with a particular focus on the uninsured, low-income, and medically underserved.
The center offers a comprehensive suite of services under one roof, making it a "one-stop" location for healthcare needs. These services include adult and pediatric primary medical care,
dental care,
behavioral health services, pharmacy services, and a wellness center. CHC also provides a variety of support programs, such as the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program,
refugee health Services, and insurance navigation assistance. They are dedicated to patient-centered care and operate as an accredited Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH).
Caring Health Centers is also an innovator in the field, with a sustained on-site research department that has collaborated on federally-funded projects for over two decades. Their research focuses on community-responsive approaches to address health disparities.
