Community health center, often referred to as Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers (CRCHC), Inc., is a community-based nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2003. As a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (
FQHC), CRCHC's core mission is to positively impact the health of its community by providing comprehensive and high-quality primary health care. A key aspect of their service model is ensuring access to care for all, especially low-income, indigent, and uninsured patients who might otherwise face significant barriers to healthcare.
CRCHC offers a wide spectrum of services that extend beyond basic

Medical Services: Comprehensive family planning, pediatrics, maternal health, adult health, STD testing and treatment, local disease control and prevention, tuberculosis services, immunizations, and international travel health.
dental services: Full
dental care for patients.
behavioral health and Psychiatry Services: Addressing mental health needs and offering counseling.
Community Health Programs: Various initiatives covering topics like teen pregnancy prevention, adolescent health, chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes), community gardens, healthy eating, and substance use prevention. They also provide health coaching.
mobile health unit: A significant initiative that brings essential medical services directly to underserved communities, breaking down barriers like transportation, time off work, and childcare. This "clinic on wheels" provides primary care, chronic disease management, vaccinations, and health screenings.
