This doctor doesn't respect the patient's rights to decide for themselves. First of all, I came without my dental x-ray. I know that my insurance only covers 1 x-ray per yr so I said no when they offered if I wanted one. The hygienist was very forceful, she had to ask 4 times! I just wanted to take advantage of my free 2nd dental cleaning and Dr. Coggin wanted me to do a more advanced cleaning.
I know she thinks she's doing her job, but she did not my respect my decision to refuse it. She had to explain it to me over and over again like i'm an idiot. I understood very well but at that point It's been a horrible dental visit that I don't want to give her any of my money or any the satisfaction that she can benefit from me. Since I want the regular cleaning, she said "So it's like I'm a cardiologist, let's say you have 4 blocked arteries and you only want to unclog 2?" And I told her, it's not like I'm going to die if I don't get the cleaning that you want. Bad analogy! People survive without their teeth but no one survives without their heart.
And to top it all, when I was done with the regular cleaning, I asked the hygienist for a mouth wash to gargle and she said, they don't have one. WOW, OMG it's a dental clinic, no mouth wash really?! I should've walked away from the beginning, but since it was the last day of yr that I can take advantage of my insurance, I didn't. Never again will I recommend this dr. And i'll tell people to avoid her. Zero stars!

Once again Dr. Eva Coggin and her team did a great job!! I’ve gone to Dr. Coggin for awhile and she has always done great work. Very patient and respectful. The entire atmosphere in her office is very welcoming. Great job Dr. Coggin and team!!!

Dr. Coggin is one of the nicest, most caring dentist I have ever had. She gets to know me and my family personally. You could always tell that she cares.
