Dr. David Fenton is a highly qualified and experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing at Bristol Oral Surgery & Implant Center in Bristol, Connecticut. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Fenton received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of dental surgery (DDS) from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry and a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) from the University of Connecticut, where he also completed a six-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency. Dr. Fenton is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and holds the prestigious status of a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He manages a wide variety of problems related to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions, with expertise in dental implant surgery, wisdom tooth removal, corrective jaw surgery, and bone grafting procedures. His practice also offers techniques designed to rebuild bone structure and uses advanced anesthesia services, including IV sedation. The surgical staff at Bristol Oral Surgery & Implant Center are trained in assisting with these procedures and are CPR certified. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Fenton is actively involved in organized dentistry and education. He holds national leadership positions in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and state leadership positions in the Connecticut Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also serves as the Connecticut State Chairman of the OMS Political Action Committee. Furthermore, he is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he supervises and teaches oral and maxillofacial surgery residents and dental students.
