If you're in search of a compassionate and professional dental practice, you might want to consider other options. I chose this office for its convenient location and acceptance of my dental insurance. During my initial visit, the staff was adequately friendly—not rude, but lacking warmth and a customer-focused approach. While I was filling out my paperwork, I overheard the staff at the front desk speaking very negatively about a patient, using language I found inappropriate. While I understand that coworkers may need to vent to one another, this behavior was unprofessional and did not instill confidence in their abilities. When I met Dr. Stein, it became clear why the staff behaved as they did.

She was condescending and unfriendly, and I recognized her voice as one of those disparaging a patient within earshot of the waiting area. If you dislike interacting with patients, perhaps dentistry isn't the right profession for you. Despite my initial impressions, I decided to return, hoping it was just an off day for them. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. On my second visit, the staff again spoke disparagingly about patients in a loud manner, using profanity. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Weeks later, I received a text regarding an outstanding bill from the office.

Upon investigation, I discovered it was for a "concierge service" that I never agreed to. In a densely populated state like New Jersey, there is no shortage of dental practices. I am surprised that, given the competitive market, Dr. Stein and her team do not prioritize professionalism and the retention of patients like myself. I will not be returning.

I am quite upset with this Dental office. I came here due to a change in my insurance policy and the convenience of location sold me. That being said, I had a consultation for Invisalign in January where X-Rays were taken. The orthodontist and assistant were wonderful and seemed very intelligent. My issue is with the billing personnel.

I came to this office multiple times for cleanings and other procedures through out the year where I asked the status of my invisalign to which I was told “The insurance was billed I don’t know what else to tell you. ” I was also advised to “call and bother them” myself. The dentist even was surprised at how long it was taking and asked the staff member to follow through where the same reply was given. After almost 7 months of calling and waiting I have given up trying. I checked with my insurance through the app and over the phone where they were able to confirm a claim was never sent nor would it take 6-7 months to process had it been received.

The only thing billed to my insurance was the initial consultation. All of that being said I have chosen to work with a more professional office and will not be returning to this one.

I'm typically terrified of the dentist. So when I say this office should be your go to if you have the same fear as me. It's no understatement! Very pleasant and professional and friendly. I've had bad experiences with root canals. But this is my first experience where I had not one bad interaction. Shout out to Dr. Johnson , Dr stein & The office manager Joanne .

From the moment my husband and I walked in for our first visit we felt welcomed! Joann the office manager is truly a gem! We felt like we knew her for years. Our dentist, Dr. Stein was the best she was very thorough and answered any questions we had. The whole office just has a really good vibe. We highly recommend this dental office.
