I went to Bracesetters for an Invisalign consult a couple of years ago. I always had major insecurities about my crooked, crowded smile and was really hoping that I would be a candidate for Invisalign. After looking in my mouth for a few seconds I was rudely told that I absolutely couldn't use Invisalign because it would give me a severe overbite. They pushed very hard for me to get regular metal Braces, something I made clear from the beginning that I did not want. They shut down all of my questions and insisted that I had no other options.
I was repeatedly told by the orthodontist and his assistant how bad my teeth were and how I really should suck it up and take the metal braces because braces couldn't possibly look worse than my teeth already did. I went in feeling self conscious about my smile and left the office feeling even worse. Several months later I decided to get a second opinion. I went to Dr. Jung at Family Orthodontics- they treated me so nicely, they were not insulting about how crooked my teeth were, and they assured me that I could use Invisalign with no risk of an overbite.
2 years later I now have a beautiful, straight smile and a perfect bite FROM INVISALIGN. Bracesetters might be good at what they do (old school metal braces) but they obviously are not qualified Invisalign providers and their bedside manner needs some serious work. Part of the job is to make your patients feel comfortable and confident, not demean them into spending money. They said Invisalign couldn't be done in my case, when really what they meant was that they didn't have the skill set to make it happen.

As a returning patient, I am very pleased with the service I receive at Bracesetters! Everything is thoroughly explained, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating, and I don't doubt that my treatment will be successful!
