**Update**I reached out to the orthodontist to try and reach an amicable solution after my negative experience. I had been quoted a price, but was notified on the day of my appointment to have braces put on that the cost had unexpectedly increased by $2,000. I asked if the original quote could be honored due to the inconvenience, but was told to seek ortho treatment elsewhere. The way this situation was handled showed a lack of professionalism and genuine concern for customers. Original Review: I was initially excited to begin my orthodontic treatment at this practice, having carefully researched and considered several options. During my initial consultation with one of the orthodontists, I discussed the length of treatment, the associated costs, and the plan to place both top and bottom brackets as part of my treatment.

After the consultation, I had a few additional questions that I needed addressed before committing to the treatment. I called the office and communicated these concerns with the staff, specifically asking that these details be confirmed with the doctor. I was reassured that my questions had been addressed and that it was okay to proceed with the appointment. Based on this confirmation, I felt confident scheduling my appointment to have my braces put on. However, on the day of my appointment, I was informed that both the treatment duration and associated costs had been significantly changed. This was extremely frustrating, especially since I had already adjusted my schedule and planned my day around this appointment.

The changes were never communicated to me in advance, and this lack of transparency and accountability is highly disappointing. I find the failure to properly communicate and follow through on my concerns, despite being reassured, to be unprofessional and concerning. It is especially troubling that such significant changes were only shared with me on the day of my appointment, despite my efforts to clarify everything beforehand. I hope the practice takes this feedback seriously and works to improve communication and accountability moving forward.
