I needed my first implant, on lateral incisor #7. I was assured by Dr. Goldfarb's assistant that this was a simple and easy procedure and he had done thousands, no worries. That made me feel pretty confident in his abilities. The first procedure was removing the root canal and getting a bone graft. He put vertical stitches in to hold the graft. 48 hours in, I called him because I was concerned that the stitches were too tight and were cutting into my gums, essentially slicing my gums vertically, so the gums were now retracting upward in a spot. I essentially had a flap of short gum just hanging. He told me to come in the following Monday and he agreed this was what happened and took out the stitches.

He told me not to worry and that this was an easy fix. Fast forwad to the next procedure which was to place the implant and have more bone graft put in around the implant. Once again, he put in vertical stitches to hold the graft that were too tight. Now my gums are split again in another spot and completely retracting upward around this tooth. He again tells me he can fix that. I am now worried. He convinces me to have a graft from the roof of my mouth to replace this gum loss. Over a couple of weeks, I watch this graft slowly die. I call again with my concern and he tells me to come it and he cuts out the dead tissue and tells me there may be some surviving tissue.

That night, what is left of the graft falls out in the sink. I AM DONE! It took 2 years after my inital appointment with him to finish this procedure with my regular dentist. I had to have my crown made with pink gum at the top of it to make it look semi normal. This is the only thing that could be done after this DISASTER of a procedure. Obviously, I do not recommend this Periodontist. Seems to me he failed stitching 101, and quite possibly grafting 101.

This dentist and his staff are magical! They save teeth and are gentle as possible. I've sent many people and have been going for a dozen years. Some example of great dentistry they have performed for us include saving my mom's teeth, saving my Aunt’s teeth, pulling my dad's painful tooth and not being quick to drill. Dr Randy took the time to explain everything to us. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. He held our hand along the way and called to check on us. If we had an emergency, we were seen the same day. For all these reasons and more, We Call Boca Raton periodontics our home for all our families Periodontal needs.

From cleanings to implants Dr. Goldfarb is our go to place. It was Dr Goldfarb’s personality that first made us fall in love with him. But it was definitely his expertise that kept us coming back. Fair pricing was also a plus. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Goldfarb was incredibly informative and personable. Over the course of my life, I've been treated by two periodontists, two orthodontists, and many, many dentists and by far he is simply great.

He took his time to explain what my options were and provided a recommendation that was least invasive yet effective with suggestions for my own continued dental care. Extremely impressed with his manner.
