Dr. Martha Hardaway is a distinguished pediatric dentist affiliated with Bluebird Pediatric dentistry, a clinic located in Boone, NC, with an additional presence in West Jefferson. She holds a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her advanced education certification in pediatric dentistry at UNC Memorial Hospital and the UNC School of Dentistry, earning a Master's Degree in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Hardaway is board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has been recognized as a Fellow by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for her service and leadership. With extensive experience, Dr. Hardaway provides a full spectrum of pediatric dental services, including preventive and restorative care, for children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs. She is known for her commitment to creating a nurturing and comfortable environment for both children and their parents during dental visits. Beyond her practice, Dr. Hardaway is actively involved in organized dentistry. She has served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry (SSPD) and was its President in 2016. She also served as the District III Director to the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Her dedication extends to humanitarian efforts, as she has volunteered on numerous dental mission trips to underserved communities in the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Mexico.
