Anthem Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics

Anthem Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is a dream for kids (and parents!) needing dental or orthodontic care. Dr. Carter and her team are absolute pros with children—my 8-year-old and 5-year-old actually get excited for appointments! The office is vibrant and fun, with video games in the waiting area and TVs showing cartoons during treatments. My oldest just started braces, and they made it feel like a celebration, giving her a “braces superhero” kit.

For routine checkups, they use silly songs and prizes to keep little ones engaged. The orthodontic team is equally amazing, explaining every step clearly. Scheduling is flexible, and the staff is so patient with wiggly kids. A perfect blend of care and fun!

Pessimistic experience in this clinic. It is beautiful and with a lot of resources so that you feel good but the medical practices leave much to be desired. They extracted a tooth from my 7-year-old boy and for this they used three different anesthetics (1 gave him a vevida that told me he would not feel any pain, 2 local anesthesia with pinchasos, 3 gas mask) which did not work as they should or did not apply them correctly because my son cried and had a lot of pain in the process. (My son has a lot of problems in his mouth and it is not the first time he has a foot removed. ) In addition, in the process the doctor was interrupted several times since other patients were waiting for him, which left the dedication and consentration I should have. When finished my son cried and was not stunned or numb. All the way to the house my son complained of pain and when he got home, the pain worsened.

Already in the house the child if he started to be stunned and could not talk was DRUGED !!! but still he kept complaining of pain. I called the clinic and the principal of the doctors told me that the child was in pain because the medication they had given him increased the sensitivity in that area . . . what ???? Go crazy before such absurdity. Then he called me personally the doctor and tried to calm me down with meaningless arguments . .

until he even told me that one of the effects of that medication would be that the child would not remember what happened in the future . . . what ???? more crazy! After the hours my son returned to be incorporated but the pain remained precent although this time is controlled by the analgesics that we gave him at home. It really was a very unpleasant experience.
