Everyone here is very nice and helpful. I was very nervous about having my first cavity filled, but Dr. Merlino was very patient and helpful. She worked me in for an additional appointment so that way I could get it done before it got too bad. Since it was only a small cavity, I was able to get it filled without needing Novocain (I am afraid of needles) and getting the cavity filled thankfully did not hurt. She was very gentle, patient, and understanding of my fears.
The filling was also done very well. I was able to chew and eat normally that same day. Thank you so much Dr. Merlino.

Dr Merlino and staff went above and beyond for my first couple visits. Everyone was professional, and very warm and welcoming. Dr Merlino went out of her way from her busy schedule to quickly repair a chipped tooth for me as I had an event to go to.

Let me say that the dental work and care is great, however the billing department is horrible. I was told before multiple appointments that my insurance would cover most (if not all) of the appointments and work. I had a bunch of work done and every time I left I would check to see if I owed anything, every time they said no you are good to go. Come to find a few months later after leaving one of my appointments the lady tells me "you owe 2,000 on your account".
For whatever reason they decided that months later that my insurance did not cover whatever. And before my insurance is claimed to be bad, I had a full root canal at a different office and it was fully insured. Had I known that nothing would be covered at Merlinos I would have found a different dentist that has a competent billing department. They also did the same thing to my wife, with telling her that insurance will cover a cavity.
At the end of her appointment she was hit with a 137$ bill (which is about the cost of a cavity with no insurance). The sad thing is they claim to be Christian however I am seeing multiple reviews of the same issues.

I’m the apprehensive patient & didn’t see a dentist for 10 years. Reading her reviews I chose Dr. Merlino & I’m so glad I did! The hygienist that work for her made me feel like I was home very welcoming and DDS Annette Merlino felt like family. I go every 6 months now & would recommend this place 100%! They are the best very kind & professional.
