I walk different than most people- just thankful to be walking after all I’ve survived. Years of intensity and aggression have taken a toll on my teeth. Didn’t think I’d be around this long?! I wish I could write that I had a decent experience here. I hadn't seen a dentist in a long while due to overall dental anxiety, don't go here if you have that! I was overwhelmed with the services they offered off of the comfort menu (and not at all comfortable). While the staff was kind, I just felt really. . . .

pressured? Like stop asking about my hopes and dreams and look at my teeth please? Fast forward, I get my dentist, Dr. Mary. Mary was very kind and professional, and I was happy with my services until she filled 3 of my cavities (that I didn't see or feel were there) and I have been in pain ever since. My bite is completely different, I feel straight up nerve pain when I floss, and my teeth are moving. I went back twice for corrections and was told I just have a "tricky bite. " Neither correction has helped at all, and I no longer trust them to fix it.

I'm going to a new dentist, who will not ruin my mouth and can hopefully correct the damage that has been done to my bite. I am having to work with insurance on billing issues, as the staff didn't seem knowledgeable on that when I called to inquire (but they were very friendly and did their best to help me, so let me give credit there). I've heard terrible reviews from people I know personally, I will not go back nor will I recommend them. I also got some fun messages on Facebook from former staff members. I call this building Altoona Frowns now!
