I don't think I have ever experienced anything like this with a dental office. They are overwhelmed there, understaffed at the front desk, not rude just there is a lack of communication between each other. I am kept on hold for 15 min each time.

Their files don't get updated, the notes don't get placed in the system. I am in need of a crown and no notes! Asked me to come in, was not approved by insurance yet, why did they make me come in? If your time is valuable and you don't want to get frustrated, don't come to this place.

I came in for my annual visit on July 3rd, and despite being stuck in heavy Route 9 traffic (thanks to the July 4th beach crowd!) and arriving 30 minutes late, the team at Allied Dental of Old Bridge still kindly accommodated me. I really appreciated their understanding and flexibility. The service was excellent as always, and everyone was professional and friendly.

I’m so grateful for how smoothly everything went despite the delay. Highly recommend!

Overall the experience was good. I didn't have to wait in the waiting area for a whole hour like before. I did not like how the doctor who cleaned my teeth did. She didn't use the small mirror that they use to clean the molars.

She did guess work and had the cleaning too land on my gum most of the times. That was painful. I wonder if you can chose someone to clean your teeth just the way we can choose which doctor to see.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of understanding and flexibility at this dental office. After getting off work and navigating a major detour and horrible traffic, I arrived just 12 minutes late to my child’s dental appointment. I called ahead to explain the situation, fully acknowledging that their time is valuable. However, the reason for the visit was important — my child had a broken bracket causing discomfort and pain. Despite explaining the urgency and circumstances, we were told we would have to wait another week or even a month for the next available appointment.

There was zero empathy or accommodation, even though we made every effort to communicate and get there as quickly as possible. Emergencies and traffic happen — especially when you’re coming from work. A short grace period should be a reasonable expectation, especially for pediatric care. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling like patient care and compassion are not priorities here.
