Alford family dentistry, also known as Alford & Alford DDS PA, is a well-established dental clinic located at 3902 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403. The practice was founded in September 2003 when Drs. Clay and Marija Alford acquired the existing dental practice of Dr. Larry Neal. Their mission is to provide high-quality, conservative dentistry for the entire family, incorporating the latest dental equipment, technology, and continuous education. Dr. Clay Alford, a native of Wilmington, graduated from John T. Hoggard High School in 1994, North Carolina State University in 1998 (Summa Cum Laude), and the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill in 2002 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery with Honors. He specializes in fixed and removable prosthetics and implant dentistry, and is also an authorized Invisalign orthodontic provider. Dr. Marija Alford, also from North Carolina, graduated first in her class from Asheboro High School in 1994 and Guilford College in 1998 with high honors. She also earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery with Honors degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 2002. While she previously practiced dentistry in Wilmington, she now primarily focuses on raising their two sons born in 2007 and 2010, though she maintains her dental license through continuing education and has worked part-time with the Smile North Carolina program, providing dental care to children in school settings. Her areas of interest include pediatric dentistry and prevention. Alford Family Dentistry is committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
