Fantastic experience. Compassionate staff put this nervous person at ease. So glad I switched from my old dentist thanks to another patient from this clinic who suggested them after receiving equally excellent service.

The assistant and dentist were very nice, communicative, etc. My issues lie with the new automated phone system, as it takes almost 15 minutes to actually get to speak with a human!! Also, I'd like to note (make aware) on the other 2 issues I've dealt with over the past 2 months. . . I had a teeth cleaning appt on my calendar, 6 month cleaning appt, June 25, 2025.

I never received a reminder call or text, so I called in the 24th to inquire. After going thru the BS of the new method of taking calls, I was told that a mistake had been made - the appt was scheduled for next year - 2026!!! Now, I have to wait until November for my 6 month cleaning which will not be for another 5-6 months! The other thing is I called after hours on July 8 cuz I lost a crown. The answering service said she would have the office call me back the next day. I never got a call!! So I called around 4/4:15 on the 9th - after going thru the BS with your new method of taking calls - it took almost 15 minutes to speak to a human!! I was told they never received the message to call me; nor was there anything notated in the file . People at location are exceptional - but trying to get a hold of someone there is BEYOND frustrating!!!!! I hope this review will be taken into serious consideration.

If I'm calling the office in Bellingham, I expect to speak with the receptionist in Bellingham - not some random person - and having to be on hold, just to ask a simple question, is ludichrist. Again, office staff was Great. But you need to stop this AI bologna. Thanks

Had to switch dentists to one that took my insurance. This office did and I was specific in this 100%. I had to give up my 6 year dentist because he was going through a recertification process with Dominion insurance. That is why I switched, With this dental office, I was clear that my insurance was to be used and they are an in network dentist. They affirmed this. However, they set me up with a dentist that is not in network and waiting for certification. Thus, my claim was denied. They set me up with a Dr. that wasn't certified by Dominion. I had no idea until I got the denial in the mail.

This will hopefully be reversed, but in the meantime they have been no help nor do they care. Most importantly is that I was there because they told me they took my insurance. The office said the Dr. was certified and the insurance company told me she was not. I do not recommend this office. They were not helpful in all this. Opposite. Their office evidently doesn't know who is certified and who isn't. This is an 'in network' office. They hung up on me when I repeatedly asked to talk to the manager.

That's all I wanted. They would not do it. This office led me astray. One of the worst medical experience of my 75 years. Dentist was great but the organization leaves a lot to be desired. Evidently this dentist was also waiting for certification from Dominion Insurance. I feel I was taken advantage of. I'm 75 and disabled. This should not happen to anyone.

I have been a patient for over 40 years. I always have a pleasant visit. They are polite, friendly, very knowledgeable. Take the time to explain options and I really appreciate that. I was hesitant to visit after Dr Shine retired but now I will continue to go to Aesthetic dental for all my needs.
