Born and raised in Salem, Oregon, Dr. Dohman pursued his B.S. in Human Physiology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Oregon, followed by his DMD at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland. He further honed his skills through a one-year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at Virginia Commonwealth University and a rigorous four-year residency in Oral & Facial Surgery at New York Medical College/Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center. During his residency, he developed a particular passion for Wisdom Teeth Removal, implants, bone augmentation, facial cosmetic surgery, and trauma surgery. Dr. Dohman and his staff were extremely accommodating. He made time to extract my cracked tooth during the consultation. The procedure was virtually painless, the recovery has been easy. His staff is friendly and professional.

If there were more stars available to show how I was impressed and overly joyed with Dr. Luke Dohman taking care of my 10 year old extractions. She was in minimal pain, little to no bleeding and wanted to go to school after the procedure. I was uncomfortable with not being able be in the room while he was performing the procedure but that subsided quickly when I saw how happy and comfortable she was after the procedure.

He is the greatest and only Dentist I will TRUST TO TAKE CARE OF MY FAMILIES DENTAL WORK. Of course he could not be who he is without his lovely staff who made me at ease and made sure everything with my daughter would be OK and run smoothly which they succeeded beyond all expectations. Thank you all for a wonderful memory, experience and taking excellent care of my daughter.

Went to Dr. Dohman for a tooth extraction. He was extremely nice and filled me in on the procedure. Went back to get the tooth pulled, was only in the office for 30 minutes. No pain. Also, met 4 staff members, all super pleasant and helpful. I honestly think I really couldn't expect more from a Doctor and his staff. Definitely a 5 Star office!

I read reviews before going to see Dr. Dohman and there were a few bad, but mostly good so I planned to give him the benefit of the doubt. Bedside manner is CRUCIAL to me as I suffer from severe dental anxiety and there was NONE to be found. The assistant nor himself created an environment where I felt comfortable.

I felt I was being talked at, not to- almost like I was bothering them by being there and asking questions? The ONLY smile and warm interaction I had was with the front desk. In fact, the receptionists were compassionate and caring through every interaction I had with them. I cannot speak to his surgical abilities as I will not be advancing my dental care with him, but just wanted to share my experience as someone with dental anxiety.
